- The Notebook
An epic by Nicholas Sparks, Notebook is a breezy summer romance with the perfect dose of love, pain, and heartbreak. With the lead characters Noah (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachel McAdams) stealing the show with their stellar chemistry, no wonder the two received the MTV Best Kiss Award for the year 2004. 2. A Walk to Remember
Well, who can write Romance better than Nicholas Sparks? It’s the hit novelist once again who’ll walk you through the most innocent and tearful love story of all times with A Walk to Remember. This beautiful portrayal is all about high-schoolers Landon (Shane West) and Jamie (Mandy Moore) who fall head over heels in love with each other only to be separated by a life-threatening leukemia. A heavy-hearted movie that is still fresh 18 years after its release.

3. P.S I Love You
An adorably beautiful drama about how love can give hope even after death, P.S I Love You is all about how Gerry guides his wife Holly towards a better future after his loss through a bunch of letters. Simply watch it for Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank’s realistic performances and the feel-at-light screenplay that lets you believe in life after the loss of a loved one.

4. Me Before You
The bond between a paralyzed billionaire and a naïve yet full-of-life caretaker is all this romantic and heart wrenching movie is all about. Written by Jojo Moyes, Me Before You is charmingly rendered by Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke. It breaks our heart to see how difficult it is for the character Will Turner to spend every minute not being able to fall in love or go back to the life he once lived. This movie is once again a tearjerker that shows love in its purest form.

5. The Fault in Our Stars
Hazel Grace (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort), teens who meet in a Cancer Support Group have no clue they had the luxury to fall in love in their uncertain life. They make use of the little time they have until Augustus falls prey to the unmerciful illness. John Green’s hit novel has been beautifully filmed and leaves us wondering how blessed we are to live a healthy life with our loved ones beside us. Be prepared for a young emotional drama with a roller-coaster of feelings that’s hard to contain.
